Lily of the Valley - Rosie Posy

hello everyone
thanks for the comments on yesterdays cards. means a lot to me that you are sticking with me.
hope you are all well and enjoying whatever you are doing today.

Here is today's card. This one is a Lili of the Valley image called Rosie Posy which was a freebie set a while back in one of the craft magazines. As always she is coloured with copics and I have added some glossy accents to the flowers in her bouquet.

Here is a close up of the bouquet -

I really love Lili of the Valley images. They are all so versatile.

I added some flowers to the bottom corner - these are cut from an X-cut flower punch - I layered them up and added some candi dots to the centres.

The background is a red gingham paper from my stash. I tried to keep the theme red and white so didn't want too many embellishments on the 6" square card.
I did add one corner die again cut in white linen card like the flowers.

Here is a close up again of the image.

I do hope you like Rosie Posy - its my nickname! LOL
Thanks again for dropping by and I hope to see you all again tomorrow with another card.

until then
hugs to you all for being such fab friends

Tilda Celebrates Midsummer

hello friends.
hope you are all keeping well. Its very chilly today - what a change to Monday!

Anyway, onto today's card. This one is a Tilda image called Tilda celebrate Midsummer (I think!) -  I was very lucky to have been sent a couple of the images from the very talented Natalie a fellow crafter on Docrafts.  As always Tilda  is coloured in with my copics. I added some glossy accent to the flowers she is holding and the rain drops too.

I matted her onto red cardstock and then onto red and white spotty background paper. The die cut heart was another kind donation along with the swirly leaf die.
The flowers are from my stash along with the brads.

Here is a close up of the swirly leaf die and heart.

I didn't put a sentiment on as to be honest I wasn't sure if this would be suitable for a birthday or just a general card. So I may leave the insert blank.

hope you like it. As always I appreciate you looking and any comments.

until next time

Hanglar Stanglar feeling under the weather

hello friends. hope you are all well and enjoyed hopefully some sunshine on the Bank Holiday weekend.
Here is today's card. This is a Hanglar Stanglar image - not sure of the name as they were sent to me by a fellow crafter. Sorry I can't remember who it was! apologies if it was you.

I have coloured her with my trusty copic pens and found some paper again from my stash. This is a stash card! LOL - I am finding loads of stash I had totally forgotten about.

I found these gems on the wire ages ago and put them down - then as usual couldn't find them again. Does that happen to you too? I bet it does. anyway I am not sure if you can see it too - but I saw rain drops when I looked at them and thought they would be ideal for this card.

Here is a close up of the image.

Here is a close up of the wording (Papyrus font) and again ribbon from my stash - the corners were done using a Whimsy Die from The Stamp Basket  and my cuttlebug.

Thanks for dropping by today. I hope you like the card. Would appreciate your kind comments (good or bad!)

until next time

just for you (pink petticoat papers)

hello friends and followers
hope you are all well. thanks for sticking with me and giving me support in my card making ventures!
This one I created late on a Saturday night while tidying up my craft area and picked all 3 pieces of these papers in one go.
I thought they worked very well together and I am impressed with the result.

Here I have used the fabulous Pink Petticoat paper download from a while back called Just An Old Fashioned Girl.

I matted it onto lilac card stock and I found some fawn coloured card with a sheen and printed the wording direct onto the cardstock itself.

I added a matching bow (hand tied!! ooh get me!) and thought the sheen looked very pretty. For an extra bit of sparkle I added some diamantes.

What do you think? Any comments would be much appreciated.

hugs to you all

Happy Birthday (gorjuss image)

hello friends
hope you are all well - its pretty chilly up here in Northumberland. Where did the sun go?

Here is today's card. This is a Gorjuss image - which is from a Gorjuss kit I received from my daughter for Mother's Day. She wanted to get me something for my card making and found this.

I haven't used their images before so was rather overwhelmed by all I got in the kit.
I thought best to stick to plain and simple to begin with - don't want to make a dogs dinner of such lovely papers and images.

So I printed the sentiment and details direct onto the card base itself using a font called Marita.

Here is a close up of the image.

I found some matching card stock to make a matt and I thought it looked better.

I added some glamour dust to the butterflies.

Thanks for dropping by again today. I would love to read your comments and return the kindness by visiting your blog.

Thanks for bee-ing my friend. Friendship swap

hello friends and fellow cardmakers.
Hope you are all well. Today's card is my submission for the April Friendship swap on Docrafts. I chose a Tilda image for this month's card.
Here I have coloured her with copics and added a touch of glitter to the antenna of her costume.

The background paper was from my stash and the corners are from a die cut. I added a gem to the corners for extra sparkle.

Here is a little close up of her costume.

Here is a close up of the sentiment

I used an X-cut punch to make the daisies and a Martha Stewart punch for the leaves.

Here is a close up of the colouring in

thanks for dropping by today and I hope you like the card.
hugs to you all for following me and sticking with me.

Happy Birthday (saturated canary image)

hello friends
I have another card to share with you today. Hope you like it!
This was a commission card with a girly theme.
I printed the background papers onto iridescent paper and matted these onto the 8" card base.

Here I have used a Saturated Canary image that was a kind freebie from the talented Krista. I have coloured her with copics and cut around the image.

I used a flower die cut that was very kindly sent to me by Chris of ChrisAndCat fame. I cut flowers from my X-cut punch and smaller ones with glossy accents added to the middle.

Here is a close up of the corner die cut in glitter card.

Hope you like this - any comments are more than welcome.

hugs to you all
