Some bunny loves you....

Hello everyone!!!
Well I cannot believe its Saturday again. Crikey where has the week gone. I've decided to still cancel my birthday and I've also decided to go back in years. Do you think anyone will notice? Probably not. My birthday's not till Thursday 2nd Feb and as usual I will be at work ALL DAY!!! bah never mind. then again I suppose it shouldn't matter if its cancelled should it?? LOL

And now for the card.....

I gave in I'm afraid and did buy these images BUT they are for Valentines Day and since I have cards requested I did have to get these super cute images from Digistamp Boutique which are part of their Valentines range. I love the mouse with the heart and I love the bunny too. In fact I just love them all and although me and hubby don't do Valentines Day I do make them for commission cards.
Hubby says he doesn't need a special day to show how much he loves me!! awww bless him....but  since its our 11 year anniversary of being a couple on the 21st Feb so we usually do something then.

Anyway I'm waffling on as normal..lol - the image is the bunny one coloured in with copics and some of the hearts have glossy accents on them, some have a bit of glamour dust for effect.

The wording I have printed myself on the PC but used the sentiment that Denise of Digistamp boutique had designed.
I have simply matted into onto red cardstock for effect as I think its best left that way. what do you think?

thanks for dropping by as always and please leave a comment whether good or bad so I can visit your blog too and see your fab creations too!!

LOTV tea party

Well its Saturday again, crikey where has the week gone, I can't believe its the 21st January already. Not be long before its my birthday!! LOL
Can you cancel birthdays? Is that possible - that way I wouldn't get any older....mmm.... I think I might go for that from now on. No birthdays ...mmm. but the downside is no presents or cards.....mmm. might have to think that one out a bit more!!
anyway back to the whole point of my blog - my cards!!

This one is again an image from LOTV called tea party  which I think I got sent from my Docrafts buddy lmn (little miss naughty) otherwise known as Carla. thanks hun. much appreciate your kind donation. again coloured with copics. matted onto pink cardstock. backing paper is a freebie from a craft magazine. card candi from stash and I cannot remember where the sentiment is from.

thanks for looking. and please stop by leave a comments so I can return the favour and visit your blog too!!

With Lots of Love

Well hello there. its another Wednesday and like Lisa at Wishcraft I am trying very hard to use up what I already have. Lisa did a fab job buy not buying any new papers last year and I am trying hard to do the same myself this year!!
I also vowed to use up all the images that I have previously coloured in at some point no doubt while I was at work!! LOL naughty me!!

so this is a Precious Moments image which I believe is a freebie - coloured in with copics. I matted into onto blue and orange stripey paper which was a kind donation from Lisa at Wishcraft (which she sent to cheer me up when my poor cat Marbles was put down last year.)
so thanks for that Lisa - I knew I had coloured this in blue and orange for a reason.
Matted also onto blue cardstock and added candi dots in orange from Lisa too x

hope you like the close up too!! hubby's idea was the orange bubbles behind!! he does have his uses at times!! LOL

thanks for looking and any comments are always welcome

hugs to you all

Birthday Wishes - easel card

This is my very first attempt at an easel card. I think I have done it right!!

I wasn't quite sure if I did it right but it seems to work!
this is the close up albeit blurred (can't quite work out why though!!?) close up of the image

next is a side view of the fold. I think this is a quick version of the proper way to do an easel fold card, but I saw the lady do this on some demo on the TV and thought I would give it a go!!

am not 100% sure if I've done it right but it seems to stop where its supposed to!!
I think I've put enough embellishments on it without over powering it.
I put the paper on the bottom section all the way to the back and again on the back section of the fold. I am assuming that the verse goes on the very bottom part of the card which sits on the desk? Let me know if that is right or wrong won't you!!

anyway the image is a LOTV image called Emma's presents which was very kindly sent to me by my fellow Docrafter tattys - thanks so much x
as always coloured with copics. added a pink card section with paper and ribbon to make the stopper (?) for the card front to rest on.
flowers from stash and candi dots from Craftwork Cards

thanks for looking and any comments would be gratefully received or any other suggestions to make it better or if I need to add more embellishments on it

hugs

Belated Happy New Year!!

Well finally I managed to make a new card and post it on here!
Honestly, I am absolutely hopeless at the moment.
I think I have put my brains away with the Christmas decorations - I cannot get organised at all and that was one of my new year resolutions!
fat chance of that happening now. not even the end of the first week and I'm already like a dolly daydream.

Hope you all had a fab Christmas and New Year. Ours was quiet and peaceful. Just how hubby likes it after "entertaining people all year at work" (that's how he puts it!! LOL

Anyway back to the whole card making theme of my blog (LOL)
I started off deciding like most of you to use up what I already have before buying anything new. I have a load of images already coloured in just waiting to be used.
So the first one I put my hand on was this Lily of the Valley image called Little Nurse she is so cute. I love the teddy being given the medicine! I as always coloured with copics and as I felt the image stood better on its own I simply added a background paper with is another new resolution to use up all the paper I have before I buy anymore!! Lets see how long that one lasts too!

thanks for looking and I appreciate your patience with me over the gap of postings. Mainly due to having a 2 week holiday over Christmas and all my stuff is at work along with the PC!!

hugs to you all x
