Happy 30th Birthday

hello friends
well I know its been a few weeks since I posted anything - I caught that awful flu bug that was doing its rounds and I still have it and still feel very low and lethargic.
But card orders need to be met and here is a card I made for a request. This is an 8" card.

I have used my trusty Digistamp Boutique Coco the bear image - he is so versatile and I love his cheeky face.
I have coloured him in with copics and doubled up the image to make the flowers appear slightly decoupaged.

I printed the wording direct onto the backing paper which is a digi download from ages ago called Softly Shabby - but printed it in a lower transparency and the wording is direct from the PC.

The date sentiment circle was a kind donation from Kerry of A Load of Old Pickle.  I just changed the date to stand out and the flourish die behind it was another kind donation from Cedric on Docrafts.

I had never used this type of flourish before so I hope I did it justice!
The swirl on the other side of the card was a kind donation from the fabulous Chris of ChrisAndCat fame. I cut it down to fit in with the size of the image. Butterfly is from my stash along with the gems.

thanks for dropping by today and I hope you come back again soon.

hugs always

Skull and love heart card

hello everyone.
hope you all had a fab Easter and didn't eat too much chocolate!
I have finally remembered to upload a card! Hurrah.
Here I have used some Kanban toppers which were perfect for me. I know I could have used some of our own artwork but these were just ideal.

Here I simply matted the toppers onto black cardstock and placed onto a 6" square Papermill white linen card which I cut down myself from an A4 sheet.

Here is a close up of the main topper.

I like these.  they are pretty similar to the artwork we use in the tattoo studio.

I like the skulls in the background!

I simply added some black gems for effect. didn't want to add a sentiment as I think it would detract from the images.

thanks for dropping by - see you all very soon I hope
