hello and a very happy Halloween to you all.
hope you are all okay and enjoying the Halloween events of the day.
Here is today's card - this one should have been posted before now. Its another card for Eva who was 7 years old and loves not only Scooby Doo but gymnastics too.
Here I have simply printed out a gymnastic image and
matted onto some pink and then purple cardstock. The wording was done direct onto the
cardbase itself.
I added some glossy accent to her ribbon but you can't quite see it.
thanks for stopping by - hope to see you again tomorrow with another card.
until then take care

Happy Birthday Sister
hello again
hope you are all well and warm wherever you are in the world. its absolutely freezing here in Northumberland. We had snow flurries most of yesterday and although the sun is shining today it is still bitterly cold.
here is today's card. Another one for Adelle (my niece) this time from her sister Suranne.
Here I have used a Clipart Fairy image - I printed her out, did a little decoupage on her hat and added lots of gems around the edge of the scalloped border.
The sentiments are printed direct onto the base card using 2 different fonts. One called LainieDay and the other called Freehand591.
here is a close up of the image -
thanks for dropping by today. hope to see you all again very soon.
take care

Happy 13th Birthday
hello friends and new followers! Wow I can't believe have 100 followers! Thank you all x
Well yet another week that's flying past us all. I can't believe its Friday again.
Here is today's card - this one was for my niece as requested by my brother.
Here I have used an image from the brilliant Sugar Nellie range called Sweet n Sassy. I have coloured her in with my copics and added some glossy accent to the flowers.
I edged around the card base itself with pink chalk - I saw someone do it on a demo but not sure if I have done it right!!
the large background paper was printed from my digi paper stash. I have used a section of paper from the Dovecraft Back to Basics III paper pack. I added my Whimsy corner dies to the opposite corners for effect.
I matted the image onto cerise cardstock and added chalks around her for effect. The circle date sentiment was a kind donation from Pickle and using Pageplus I changed the date to pink and added the month and year.
here is another close up of the image itself - I added a diamante to the necklace on the image.
thanks for dropping by today. I will be back tomorrow with another card for you to see.
hugs until next time

Happy 3rd Anniversary
hello friends.
well once again its Tuesday - seem like only yesterday it was Saturday!! Or did I fall asleep and miss the weekend? LOL
I do hope you are all well and enjoying yourselves - whatever you are doing.
Here is today's card - another personalised one. I am being asked for a lot of these so I hope you don't mind me sharing them with you all.
This one was just a cute one for an anniversary. So once again the trusty Forever Friends bear CD came out and I love this image as I think its very versatile and suitable for this request.

I printed the image out twice and slightly decoupage the lady bear at the front. I matted onto pink cardstock and the background is printed directly onto the base card in a lower transparency to fade out. Wording printed at the same time using a font called BaaHmk font.
Here is a close up of the slight decoupage bit.
You might just be able to make out her head, body and arm are slightly forward of the rest of the image.
Thanks once again for all your comments - I read and reply to each and everyone of them.
until tomorrow - take care

Happy Birthday Mum (commission)
hello everyone!! Hope you are all enjoying a very chilly but sunny Saturday. Well it is here in Northumberland!! A very Autumnal day - my fave time of year.
Thanks for all the previous comments and hello to any new followers who have recently joined my blog.
Here is today's card. I hope you like it!!
This request was for anything cute. So I opted for a fave of lots of people Forever Friends bear.
Here I have printed out the image from the triple CD that was on sale about 2 years ago.
I have used one of the background papers and printed it directly on the base card itself using a lower transparency. the font was printed at the same time direct from the PC using a font called Starbabe Hmk. Its pretty similar to the one on the CD.
The pink matt was also one the backing papers from the CD but I printed it out onto cardstock.
I added glue and lots of glamour dust to the nets in the window for extra sparkle and tiny gems to the flowers in the window box. I then added glossy accents to the flowers to add a bit of dimension.

hello friends!!
well who would believe that its Friday yet again. I definitely think someone is fast forwarding the weeks past just to annoy me.
Here is today's card - another personalised card. I am doing quite a lot of these at the moment so I hope you are not getting too bored with them!!
This request was for a little girl who loves Scooby Doo and Daphne. I found this image on and printed it out then matted onto pink cardstock.
I added glossy accents to the hearts for effect. The wording is done direct onto the base card using a font called Starbabe Hmk.

Happy Birthday Tottenham Hotspur fan
hello friends
hope you are all well and enjoying the middle of the week. Its pouring with rain at the moment but the sun will no doubt pop his head out again soon - just as he has done all day here!!
This is today's card. here this one is for a Spurs fan
The request was plain and simple ideally with the badge or logo on. This time I had 2 requests for a birthday card for the same man so did 2 versions of the badge/logo.
Here is the first one
This was printed out and matted onto silver mirri card. The wording was done in a font called Splendid.
Here is a close up of the image of the badge - it has a shadow behind it.
Here is the other card again using a Spurs logo.
Here I printed it out and matted onto matching blue card then onto gold mirri card to pick out the yellow in the image.
The font on this card is called Nuptial.
Here is a close up of the badge.
thanks again for all the fab comments on my previous postings. hope you like these ones today. I shall be back tomorrow with some more cards
Until then take care
love and hugs

The font is called Swan Song.

Happy 1st Birthday Grandson (commission)
hello everyone
well its Saturday again, crikey hasn't this week flown by? Or is it just me getting old? LOL
hope you are all well and having a fab weekend so far.
here is today's card. This was for a Grandson's first birthday. I was given free reign on this design and all the lady said was he was her little star. So I thought this Tatty Teddy image was perfect!
I have printed him out directly onto cardstock. Matted onto silver mirri card. Added glossy accents to make the star more shiny.

The background was printed directly on the card base using a lower transparency to make it fade out and the wording is done in a kind of font similar to the actual Tatty Teddy one this is printed in blue as I thought it looked less harsh than the standard black font. Especially with it being for a little one's card.
hope you like this and I will have another one to show you very soon.
take care and enjoy your weekend - whatever you are doing!!

Snoozeville Man (Clip Art Fairy)
hello friends
wow its Friday yet again. its flying past even quicker now. Hope you are all well.
Here is today's card. Another quick one. This time for a male.
This image is one of the Ready to Print sets from the fabulous Clip Art Fairy range.
He is called Snoozeville and is available here to buy and print out.
All I have done is print him out but I changed the background paper shape to fit an 8" square card. I just thought it would look better for the card I was making.
I have used the decoupage section to do his socks , his shirt and the hammock too.
Its not very clear but you might be able to make it out. The sentiment was already printed out and I think its perfect!!
quick simple yet so effective. you should pop along to the Clip Art Fairy website to see what other fab stuff they have on there.
until tomorrow.
hugs to you all

Happy Birthday Daughter
hello friends. well as promised yesterday I have a new card to show you today. this card was a quick request and so I thought as the request was cute and blingy was a pre-coloured image from Hobby House called Spring Bringer. I love this image and have never used her before. You can buy her and others from here.
I simply added diamantes to the flowers in her hair and some in the bouquet she is holding and glossy accents to the rest of the flowers.
I matted her onto a scalloped edge circle cut with my Cuttlebug and added diamantes to each scallop. The backing papers are from a paper pack called Back to Basics III from Dovecraft. I bought mine in Wilkinsons!

National Card Makers Day
Hello friends and fellow Card Makers.
although this post is late I hope you all had a fab National Card Makers Day on Saturday. I joined in with the swap list organised by Docrafts to swap a card with a fellow Card Maker.
So I didn't want to post the card I made on Saturday incase my swap partner saw it before she received it.
here is my card which I have used an image called Post Pals which was very kindly sent to me by Debdoes on Docrafts.
I stamped her with Memento black in and coloured her with my copics.
The pink background paper was from my digi stash. The flowery paper is a Wild Rose studio paper which was from a freebie paper pack that came with Quick Cards Made Easy magazine.
The corner die was cut with my cuttlebug as was the circle sentiment. Wording printed in a font called Juice. Flowers cut with an xcut punch and candi dots added to make the centre of the flowers.
thanks for dropping by today and I hope to see you tomorrow with another card.
take care until then

Happy 50th Birthday
hello Friends. wow its Friday again. can't believe how quickly the weeks are flying past.
hope you are all well wherever you are in the world.
here is today's card. This was a request for a 50th birthday card the theme was "cute". that was all I was given.
So I turned to the trusty Forever Friends bear and found this image which I think is so versatile.
I printed him onto card and matted onto pink card-stock. The background paper was one also from the Forever Friends triple CD which came out a few years ago now. I printed it direct onto the card base but in a slightly lower transparency and added the wording direct onto the background using a font called Liorah.
I added glossy accents and glamour dust to the flowers and diamante gems to the printed flourishes in the corner for extra sparkle.

Wedding Day (commission)
hello friends
here is today's card. This is a commission Wedding Day card with a Cadbury purple colour theme.
I had help from my friend on Docrafts called Chris aka ChrisAndCat who very very kindly cut me the centre die square in the Cadbury purple card which I sent to her. I cannot thank her enough for all her help as she rushed the die cuts back to me as quick as the post would allow!! Luckily they arrived just in time yesterday for me to be able to make the card today.
Its an 8" card base with a purple base matt with a Pink
Petticoat digi paper collection called Sweet Flourishes in Pansy which I
printed out with a lower transparency.
The couple image was a freebie from a download. The wording was done direct onto the backing paper in a font called Beautiful.
I added a strip of the backing paper onto more Cadbury purple cardstock and added a ribbon for effect. Tiny gems were also added around the edge for sparkle.
I think the purple gems looked better than the diamante ones which I used on the silver version of this card a couple of postings back.
here is another photo of the card but using a flash this time to try and show the colour of the card and the mirri card
I hope you like this posting and would love to hear any feedback from you

Thank You
hello finally. what a bad blogger am I!! why is it that when I make cards I simply forget to take photos of them and then on top of all of that my mojo goes walkabout again.
honestly being creative is sometimes a pain in the bum!!
here is today's card - a simple thank you card.
here I have simply printed the words on the right hand side of the card using a font direct from the PC. to the left I have added a strip of green paper with some ribbon. The flower pot was cut from some card stash along with the flowers and gem heart as well as the wire too.
I think its simple but effective.
thanks for dropping by today
