Christmas Catch up P and Q

hello friends
Saturday again and its the 1st of December. I totally agree with everyone - this year has gone far too fast. Next thing we know it'll be Easter!! I cannot work out how its gone so fast and as usual I have done nothing for Christmas - I am usually the loony running around on Christmas Eve buying things from garages and corner shops!! LOL only joking. 
But seriously though I am out on Christmas Eve. I cannot see why people find that such a baffling concept that I am not set and organised for Christmas with everything done and sorted and wrapped in November. To me its like its a competition over who can be the first to be done and sorted. Kind of takes the festive feeling out of it - in my opinion. If its a competition I am gonna tell people I have been done and sorted since Boxing Day for next Christmas. Then I will win something!! LOL
 
Anyway - I have 2 cards to share with you today P and Q for the Docrafts A-Z Daily Challenge which is now finished but I am still continuing on with finishing the alphabet. 

So here is my card for P - poinsettia. 



This is a watercolour image I found and printed onto linen cardstock and matched the colour of the green border with the lettering. The font is called Black Chancery




I simply added a tiny touch of glamour dust to the centres as I didn't want to distract too much from the beautiful picture. 


The second card is Q - Christmas Quackers (sorry for the pun!)
I found this cute duck on my Forever Friends Triple CD and thought he looked so cute and Christmassy. I simply again printed him direct this time onto the base card itself and added the wording at the same time - this time in blue to match the background of the duck and in a different font.



I simply added glamour dust for some sparkle. Here is a close up of the duck!


Hope you like these simply cards today - I feel a bit bad cos they are not my colouring in but I do hope you like them

    I haven't done much for Christmas yet either. I think there are more bargains around if you leave it later, that's my excuse anyway!!
