hello everyone. well I hope you are all keeping well and warm. Today I am playing catch up once again with my A-Z Daily Challenge cards over on Docrafts. Here I have uploaded my letter K card today.
I have chosen K for Kiss-mas (sorry for the pun) just couldn't help myself!!
the image is one of the fabulous Christmas ones from Digistamp Boutique from last year. He is called Jasper and is available here.
I have coloured him with copics and added diamantes to the mistletoe and a red pearl to the robin's hat.
here is a close up of Jasper. I carefully blended his colours together to make his chin appear rounded.
I added glamour dust to the robins hat and used a little snow-tex under Jasper's feet with added glamour dust again.
The background paper was a freebie with magazine from last year and the image and sentiment were both matted onto green cardstock.
thanks for dropping by and I will see you all hopefully tomorrow with the card for L
hugs

hello everyone
thanks for joining me again - I'm waving at you all!! LOL
hope you are all okay wherever you are in the world.
Once again I am playing catch-up with the daily challenge so here albeit late my card for the letter J - this is a Jolly Snowman and Snow-lady.
Here is the image.
The image is printed onto linen cardstock same as the base. The wording is done direct from the PC using a font called Brock Script in red.
I matted the image onto red cardstock and then gold mirri card. I added a touch of glamour dust to the folds in her scarf and diamantes to the poinsettia on his hat and red gems to the holly berries on her hat.
this is the insert that goes with the image.
hope you like this card and I would appreciate any comments
until next time

A-Z Daily Challenge.
hello
wow its been a week since I posted anything. I don't know where the time or the days have gone. It doesn't seem 2 minutes ago that someone mentioned it was 12 weeks or so to Christmas and now its about 7 weeks or so. I'm hopeless at trying to work out the weeks!! LOL
anyway I am waffling on and not getting to the task in hand. The cards!! I am trying to keep up with the A-Z daily challenge on Docrafts and failing miserably. Partly to do with work and partly cos I am hopeless at coming up with different ideas for the different letters. I think I'm thinking too much about it and being too focused on the christmas theme!!
Anyway here it letter G - here I have chosen Gifts.
Again for quickness its another Forever Friends image. I have printed him out onto linen cardstock and added gems for sparkle.
The background paper was also a FF digi paper and the wording I did direct from the PC using a font called Ziptydo.
Here is a close up of the image.
This next card is for the letter H - here I have chosen Holly.
For this I have picked an image from the popular Penny Black stamp collection called A Thorny Affair.
I have coloured him in with copics and added red glitter to the berries of the holly.
I used a background paper from with the colour in I have used on the image. The paper is called Winter Gifts from the very talented Summertime Driggs.
The wording is printed onto linen cardstock using a font called Petra script and then matted onto red cardstock.
thanks for dropping by today and I hope to have more cards to show you very soon
hugs to you all

Christmas Fairy (kind of)
well I was trying hard to do my daily challenge cards every single day but as usual work gets kind of in the way so I am a day late (again) posting my next letter of the alphabet - yesterday was F. So I chose this cute Forever Friends bear as a Fairy.
I have printed the bear out onto linen cardstock. matted onto silver mirri card and added lots of glamour dust as the snow.
the wording was done direct onto the linen card base using a font called BaaBook - which is supposed to be similar to the actual Forever Friends font.
here is a close up of the fairy
thanks for stopping by today. I hope to get the letter G card uploaded later on today
until later on
hugs to you all

Seasons Eatings (A-Z daily challenge)
hello again - now don't worry you are not seeing things!! Yes I am posting twice in one day (LOL) - I have caught up with the daily challenge over on Docrafts.
Here is my card for the letter E - Season's Eatings!! Sorry for the pun.
Again for quickness I have used a digistamp boutique image from last year. He is called Jasper and here he is with a Christmas pudding!!
I have coloured him in with copics and the backing paper was a freebie left over from last year's Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine. They were called Berry Merry by Jennifer Ellory.
I simply stuck the paper onto a scalloped edge 6" card and matted the image onto red cardstock and the wording was done from the PC using a font called Ziptydo.
I added red gems to be the holly berries on the pudding and glamour dust to the edge of his coat.
Thanks again for dropping by and I will see you all tomorrow with another card.
take care

D is for Decorating the Tree (A-Z daily challenge)
hello everyone
I have another card for you all today. I do hope you like it. I'm trying hard to catch up with the A-Z daily challenge on Docrafts. Yesterday was the letter D - here I decided on Decorating the Tree.
The image is another Forever Friends image from the Triple CD. The backing paper is also from the CD.
I added glamour dust to the baubles on the tree for some sparkle. The dome gems are from my stash and the corner was cut with a die using my cuttlebug. Wording done from the PC using a font called Ziptydo.
thanks for dropping by and I should have another card to show you later on today - then I am fully caught up!!
hugs until next time

Merry Christmas ABC challenge
hello friends and followers.
I am another bad blogger - crikey I didn't realise it had been a week since I posted a card. So I have 2 to show you today.
These are my creations (LOL) for the Docrafts ABC Daily Challenge run by Ginny. You have to make a card every day with a letter of the alphabet.
So for the letter A - I did Across the Miles - here I found an image from my digi stash. not sure at all where it came from but I simply printed it out and matted onto black then holographic mirri card.
I thought it looked simple and elegant - what do you think?
Here is my card for the letter B - this is Bearing Gifts. A total play on words with it being a Forever Friends Bear LOL
This image is from the Forever Friends Triple CD that I always find so useful. Here again I have simply printed out the bear. Added tiny red gems to the holly berries and snow underneath for sparkle.
The background paper is again from the Triple CD. I matted into onto dark green cardstock and the wording was printed from the PC using a font called Bradley Hand.
here is a close up of the bear
Thanks for dropping by today and I would love to hear your comments good or bad. Until tomorrow take care of yourselves
love and hugs
