hello friends
wow its Friday yet again. its flying past even quicker now. Hope you are all well.
Here is today's card. Another quick one. This time for a male.
This image is one of the Ready to Print sets from the fabulous Clip Art Fairy range.
He is called Snoozeville and is available here to buy and print out.
All I have done is print him out but I changed the background paper shape to fit an 8" square card. I just thought it would look better for the card I was making.
I have used the decoupage section to do his socks , his shirt and the hammock too.
Its not very clear but you might be able to make it out. The sentiment was already printed out and I think its perfect!!
quick simple yet so effective. you should pop along to the Clip Art Fairy website to see what other fab stuff they have on there.
until tomorrow.
hugs to you all

Happy Birthday Daughter
hello friends. well as promised yesterday I have a new card to show you today. this card was a quick request and so I thought as the request was cute and blingy was a pre-coloured image from Hobby House called Spring Bringer. I love this image and have never used her before. You can buy her and others from here.
I simply added diamantes to the flowers in her hair and some in the bouquet she is holding and glossy accents to the rest of the flowers.
I matted her onto a scalloped edge circle cut with my Cuttlebug and added diamantes to each scallop. The backing papers are from a paper pack called Back to Basics III from Dovecraft. I bought mine in Wilkinsons!

The wording is printed direct on the base card using a font called Beautiful.
hope you like today's card. albeit a pre-printed image I think it looks lovely!!
hope to see you all tomorrow for another card.
take care

National Card Makers Day
Hello friends and fellow Card Makers.
although this post is late I hope you all had a fab National Card Makers Day on Saturday. I joined in with the swap list organised by Docrafts to swap a card with a fellow Card Maker.
So I didn't want to post the card I made on Saturday incase my swap partner saw it before she received it.
here is my card which I have used an image called Post Pals which was very kindly sent to me by Debdoes on Docrafts.
I stamped her with Memento black in and coloured her with my copics.
The pink background paper was from my digi stash. The flowery paper is a Wild Rose studio paper which was from a freebie paper pack that came with Quick Cards Made Easy magazine.
The corner die was cut with my cuttlebug as was the circle sentiment. Wording printed in a font called Juice. Flowers cut with an xcut punch and candi dots added to make the centre of the flowers.
thanks for dropping by today and I hope to see you tomorrow with another card.
take care until then

Happy 50th Birthday
hello Friends. wow its Friday again. can't believe how quickly the weeks are flying past.
hope you are all well wherever you are in the world.
here is today's card. This was a request for a 50th birthday card the theme was "cute". that was all I was given.
So I turned to the trusty Forever Friends bear and found this image which I think is so versatile.
I printed him onto card and matted onto pink card-stock. The background paper was one also from the Forever Friends triple CD which came out a few years ago now. I printed it direct onto the card base but in a slightly lower transparency and added the wording direct onto the background using a font called Liorah.
I added glossy accents and glamour dust to the flowers and diamante gems to the printed flourishes in the corner for extra sparkle.

Wedding Day (commission)
hello friends
here is today's card. This is a commission Wedding Day card with a Cadbury purple colour theme.
I had help from my friend on Docrafts called Chris aka ChrisAndCat who very very kindly cut me the centre die square in the Cadbury purple card which I sent to her. I cannot thank her enough for all her help as she rushed the die cuts back to me as quick as the post would allow!! Luckily they arrived just in time yesterday for me to be able to make the card today.
Its an 8" card base with a purple base matt with a Pink
Petticoat digi paper collection called Sweet Flourishes in Pansy which I
printed out with a lower transparency.
The couple image was a freebie from a download. The wording was done direct onto the backing paper in a font called Beautiful.
I added a strip of the backing paper onto more Cadbury purple cardstock and added a ribbon for effect. Tiny gems were also added around the edge for sparkle.
I think the purple gems looked better than the diamante ones which I used on the silver version of this card a couple of postings back.
here is another photo of the card but using a flash this time to try and show the colour of the card and the mirri card
I hope you like this posting and would love to hear any feedback from you
until next time

Thank You
hello finally. what a bad blogger am I!! why is it that when I make cards I simply forget to take photos of them and then on top of all of that my mojo goes walkabout again.
honestly being creative is sometimes a pain in the bum!!
here is today's card - a simple thank you card.
here I have simply printed the words on the right hand side of the card using a font direct from the PC. to the left I have added a strip of green paper with some ribbon. The flower pot was cut from some card stash along with the flowers and gem heart as well as the wire too.
I think its simple but effective.
thanks for dropping by today
